It says that the shelf life is "unlimited", meaning you shouldn't have to worry about any stale bacteria. Instructions for use are included as well. EDIT: Wonder what stale bacteria is like? ![]() Last edited by sirbooks at 05-Jan-2006 21:31 |

That's easy ....just take a wiff of your filter after it's been stopped for a few hours ![]() Good to know biozyme has a good long shelf life, I usually reccomend cycle for people due to it's extended shelf life and lack of refrigeration requirements. ^_^ ![]() ![]() |

What qualifies as an "extended period" and why would anyone have it that hot?! As the different solutions are, for all practical purposes, "alive" with no obvious means of nutrition wouldn't it benefit from refrigeration by having it's me |

Maybe more, maybe less, but that is pretty extreme heat that they quote as a maximum. I see no reason why any person would keep this product at such high temps barring some kind of unconventional experiment- say, to observe whether a tank cycles faster if the bacteria has been heated before addition. Disclaimers are pretty fashionable for all sorts of different products, to help keep knuckleheads at bay. |
