As some of you may have been following on the gravel vacum thread. you will know that I have discovered I have a Chinesse Algie Eater that I didn't know would grow up to be aggressive.

I have been worrieing about what to do with him, etc, etc. so today I bit ethe bullet and phoned up the pet shop I got him from over a year ago, and they said they would be happy to take him back, they were sorry and I could exchange him for a siamese algie eater witch is alot nicer and wont try to kill me other fish.

so a good result alla round really

Thats good news pixie! It sounds like you have a LFS that cares about its customers and the welfare of its fish, which seems to be more rare these days! Good luck with the new algae eater.

Very excellent

I've had some good LFS returning fish experiences and sometimes you just have to shove the fish in their face and say "TAKE IT".

I bought a stocked tank once that had a pictus catfish in it. They're great guys but very active and eat small fishies, wasn't going to be suitible for that tank it was much too small so I was able to do similar to what you did, exchange him for new stock .

^_^
