figment Small Fry Posts: 4 Kudos: 3 Votes: 0 Registered: 24-Oct-2006 | At the moment i have 4 goldfish in an 81x36x50cm tank, now they are showing signs of spawning, come the spring of next year i'll drop them in the pond where they ( and any fry) should be much happier! To replace them I was thinking of "white clouds". 1. How many would you recomend? (I was thinking about 10? ) 2. How much INCH.sq surface area do each fish need? 3. Do they prefer open water or well planted/rocky layouts for hiding? Any Help Appreciated!! Thanks! |

They are top water only fish, prefering to occupy the upper 40% of the tank. The like open water with some floating plants or tall plants.
