I have one community tank set up as a planted tank and another tank for shelldwellers so it has sand as a substrate with tons of shells. I would like to do something different for my eclipse, does anyone have any fun ideas? I am not sure how i am going to stock the tank...but i will worry about that later, but if fish go along with your theme, then definitley include them!

how about some Endler's Liverbearers? They make an awesome looking tank in my 2.5, and I'm sure they would be really cool in a 6Of course if you put in all males you would have these awesome flashes of color

That or a really tacky tank with your school colors, and some other decoration, like one of those "No Fishing" signs from walmart, and a betta:%)

Really it's your choice, I'd go with the Endler's, or use it as a grow out tank for my Cory Fry

Well i have a betta in there right now and when he was in a ten gallon he got along with a school of zebra danios that were there temporarily so he ususally gets along with everyone. I was thinking maybe him along with a pair of cherry barbs? Could i put anything else in the tank with him?

Cherry barbs are a bit shy, would you have somewhere else to put them or the betta if there were problems? The only other suggestion I have would be an ADF or two.
