I am cycling a new fishtank (10 gallon) and i need a source of ammonia.
pH: 8.0
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 3 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
I do not have enough room for anymore fish in my 20 gallon so if i cycle with zebra danios, they will have no where to go. In my 20 gallon i have: 2 paradise fish, 2 rainbowfish, 6 black neons, 5 habrosus, and 1 growing molly fry. Could i move any of those temporarily to the ten gallon to add ammonia to that tank?

I agree on fishless.

Since you already have an established tank, why not either run the filter for the 10 gallon on it for 3-4 weeks, or use some of the filter material from the 20 to help out in the 10?
Then depending on how hardy of fish you're looking @ the 10 should be ready to go .
