The guy at the store sold me three of them and a molly for a 10 gallon tank (He told me I could keep 10 fish in a 10 gallon tank) Well, anyway. I'm not sure what to do at this point, as I'm new to aquariums and stuff. Crazy pet store guy. If it helps, the swords are all female, though one has a little stub growing out of it's tail and a weird body, for a female (Might be a male that got his tail bitten off)... I bought it for it's color, not shape. =P

I'm afraid they really do get too big for a 10 gal, as will the molly. But by returning them you'll be freeing up space to get that tetra some buddies. Almost all tetras are schooling fish; they really need to be kept in groups. Do you know what type it is?

Yup, I agree, they need to go back. The one with the "stub" is a male that is just starting to grow his tail.

When did you set up your tank?
