The cichlid entries are too general as well but its a handy way to give people a quick clue as to how things work. Suckermouth cats also have a caution rating with platies and mollies? Swordtails with new world cichlids, er how about a dovi? Sharks should get a caution with most smaller fish and so on depending on species. Its not perfect, the info is imprecise, but it is a very good idea, I think you could increase the size of the grid about about 5 times though . Overall a nice idea, but poorly executed on the fishkeeping knowledge. I like the presentation of it though. |

One thing that I noticed is that the little cross that follows your mouse to make the chart easier to use doesn't work in firefox but does work in Internet Explorer. |

My tank, I've got tiger barbs, mollies, danios, clouds, platies, rainbows, and loaches, and cats and they're a big happy family. Listen! Do you smell that? |

The chart you have is also good, but the fish profiles are more detailed & interesting. http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
