I would get 5 more Corydoras & 4 more Tiger Barbs to start with. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

I have a school of 7 tiger barbs and 8 serpae tetra, 2 silver sharks (which will eventually need to be relocated to a bigger tank), 2 bristlenose, 2 yoyo loach, and 2 bronze cory. The barbs and tetras are fully grown and they are more than happy and have plenty of space to swim around. I do need to do regular weekly water changes (also about 20%) and clean the gravel as it does get quite dirty. I would probably be careful though with getting to many bottom dwelling fish as your tank isn't as long, and these can grow quite big, you should be fine with another cory. They really do like hanging out together! I hope this helps you decide... |

Your cory may seem happy but think abotu this. You are in a room full of people but you don't know one of the. Yes you try to socialize with them and they might talk to you but you are still upset because you do not have anyone close to you there. You might seem ok but you would still be pretty bumme dout right? This is the same kind of thing. They REALLY NEED to be in schools. People don't realize how much better they do in schools. I guarantee you cory will live longer and be much happier if you get him friends. Christina |
