PH test:8,0 Nitrite:0,2 Nitrate:0,2 Ammonia:0,0 I was just thinking that maybe this must be wrong..Ammonia 0,0? Maybe i should take some water to the lfs and he will test the water for me. |

Did you seed the tank with gravel or filter media from an established tank? If so, you're probably part of the way there. Otherwise, I understand that live plants can often carry nitrifying bacteria, so they can give the cycle a bit of a headstart. But those are odd results. I'd probably keep at it and keep monitoring over a week to see if there are any changes. At any rate, the cycle is not complete until the nitrites and ammonia are both at 0 and stay there for a few days. |
