YAY!! So...what can i do? The tank has an undergravel filter and some pretty thick gravel and i cannot decide what to do. I cannot decide whether i should put the thick gravel in (if it was planted i know thinner gravel is better) So what can i do in a twenty gallon. I have a twenty gallon community planted already, could i do a pair of convicts? Or anyother cichlids? (not rams, a higher pH cichlid...i already have enough problems keeping the pH down in my other tank) Last edited by Hooktor at 12-Jun-2005 18:30 |

I heard they can be hard to maintain unless you know exactly what your doing, and that they arent the best option for planted tanks. But like i said that is just me. For a 20 gal high: Prolific Cichlids: Kribs Shellies Brichardi Probably forgetting a few others... I'll do graffiti, If you sing to me in French. |

So i was wondering if i should run both or just the HOB. I pitched the UGF, i have the HOB bio-wheel running...so what next?! ![]() Last edited by Hooktor at 12-Jun-2005 23:10 |

So i tink that your gravel is fine for a planted tank. You can have some Tetra's & Corydoras in there, but it's better to read all the options given & then tell us what you've decided. ![]() http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
