Ok... in a 55 gal. tank I'm thinking of going with: 2 zebra plecos, 3 electric yellows, 5 chilumbas, and 8 rams (not sure on specific type of ram) totals 20 fish and about 60 inches of fish in a 55 gal. tank. The only reason for pushing maximum inches in my tank is because I have a habbit of over filtering
At the moment I'm filtering 320gph in a 20 gal. tank with little water movement

What do you al think of this arrangment???

Love those zebra plecos..iam going to buy 2 my self.
About your stocking it sounds good...but i would cut down on those rams to 4-6

I know human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully.

your stock sounds pretty good. I agree with Robby, however I would go ahead and start with 8 rams and let them pair then reduce the number to 2 or 3 pairs of rams

after reading more into zebra plecos I may put more in the tank, but I have to ask where is the best place to buy some zebras, I sure don't have $200 to spend on just 1 fish

You will have problems keeping rams and electric yellows in the same tank.
EY are Lake Malawi fish requiring hard water and a high ph. Rams are Sth American fish requiring softer water and a low ph. This will be an expensive lesson if you put these fish into the same tank.
