djtj Fish Master Posts: 1764 Kudos: 885 Votes: 49 Registered: 20-Feb-2003	more freshwater dwarf puffers bb gobies alot of catfish such as ottos, plecos, and cories Personally, I'd check into the natural habitat of the dwarf puffer and pick out species from that. I'm thinking 10 puffers with a bn pleco would look nice.

divertran Fish Addict Posts: 784 Kudos: 469 Votes: 165 Registered: 14-Nov-2004	with DPs, many people say they only get along with ottos, although some say they have had varying success with others such as BB gobies, other cats etc. Here is a link to a site with all kinds of great info on them. http://www.dwarfpuffers.com About half the DPs today are wild caught and the rest bred. The wild caught ones may only eat live foods, mine doesn't even like frozen bloodworms, sticks to the snails I beg from the lfs.

Becasue, IMO, I don't get how an otto would make a better tankmate for a possibly agressive fish than a pleco. I really think there is more to dwarf puffer companions then what's on the list.
