So what i'm wondering is how long should i wait, what lenght of mini cycle should i expect should i worry about putting in cycling fish before i get my new featherfin catfish fishhttp://www.fishprofiles.com/files/profiles/featherfin.xm thankyou in advance Yvette |

If you saved some of the gravel and filter media then you should at least be able to move some of the fish back over right away. Check for ammonia/nitrites the next day or 2 and move a few more if it's ok or wait and do any necessary water changes to keep the levels safe. I do wonder if your other tank is handling the sudden added bioload. I would say if you get all the fish back in the tank and everything checks out ok (0 for ammonia/nitrite) then add your new fish. |
