I like Green Terrors, Jack Dempseys, Convicts and Red-Tailed Black Sharks. What kind of combination of some of these fish would work in my 80 gallon? I was thinking a pair of cichlids and 1 RTBS, or 2 different cichlids and 1 RTBS... Any suggestions?

While RTS are classified as a highly aggressive fish appropriately, they don't stand a chance against MOST cichlids, much less cichlids that are especially aggressive like JD's and Green Terrors. If you're going to make a highly aggressive cichlid tank, leave the RTS out as he will be mincemeat in no time...

Vice versa, if you really want the RTS, leave the cichlids out and build a fairly aggressive cyprinid tank instead...

PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread.
