How about this Pair of rams trio of DG 14 cardinals 8 tetras( whatever you like Bristlenose pleco 3 yoyo loaches 6 julii that would be a good stock but I wouldn't add much more unless you have a big filter. Here are some pictures of yoyo loaches in my 55 gallon tank. http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k82/budzilla_2006/DSCN0048.jpg http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k82/budzilla_2006/DSCN0690.jpg http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k82/budzilla_2006/DSCN0469.jpg http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k82/budzilla_2006/DSCN0425.jpg -Vincent |

Your plecos and loaches and corys wouldnt last long, neither would any slow moving fish like gouramis or rams. Come Play Yahtzee With Me! http://games.atari.com Http://www.myleague.com/yahtgames |

Fishrockmysox Hobbyist Posts: 94 Kudos: 58 Votes: 12 Registered: 20-Oct-2006 | If you'd want a Cichlid for a "centerpiece" I would suggest an Angel if it can go in there =P So here's what I would do: x1 Angel x10 - 12 Rummynose Tetras(or tetras about the Rummy's size) x13 to 18 Corys of your Choice x1 Large Gourami 10G- 6 Zebra Danios, 1 Upside Down Catfish 20G- 1 Goldfish 72G(maybe95)- Need Stock suggestions |

Budzilla Enthusiast Posts: 288 Kudos: 197 Votes: 90 Registered: 18-Jul-2006 | The stocking I gave you is varied, and I personally would cut it down to a few species but that is what you could get in 50 out of what you wanted. Good luck! -Vincent |

Fishrockmysox Hobbyist Posts: 94 Kudos: 58 Votes: 12 Registered: 20-Oct-2006 | Pair of rams I added up all the inches of fish that would be at 2 inches PER FISH and got a total of 76 inches. The Cardinals I was right. They usually reach a max size of 2" so that would be 28". BN's usually get around 5" to 8", Yoyos, I do believe, get to 3" in size although I'm not sure. So yes it's a nice array of fish but unless you're getting like a 95Gal you shouldn't get all those. OR you can always recude numbers so like, 5 Cardinals(10" of fish), 1 BN(8" of fish), 3 Julii(7.5" of Fish), NO tetras(0" of fish), 3 Yoyos(12" of fish), 3 DG(6" of fish), 2 GBRs(6" of fish). so: 10 + 8 + 7.5 + 0 + 12 + 6 + 6 = 49.5" of Fish. So you'd be BARELY getting by if you use the rule of 1 Inch of Fish per Gallon. Of course if you have like REALLY good filtering(like 2 Filters at each end that filter like 300GPH each) you could get away with like an extra 5" to MAYBE 10" of fish... 10G- 6 Zebra Danios, 1 Upside Down Catfish 20G- 1 Goldfish 72G(maybe95)- Need Stock suggestions |

Inkling Fish Addict Posts: 689 Kudos: 498 Votes: 11 Registered: 07-Dec-2005 | I would try this stocking: 2x Veil Tail Angels 10x Black Phantom Tetras 2x Rams 10x Panda Cories This setup creates a variety of different fishes, and the pandas will have the extra room at the bottom, while the other fish swim about the middle and top sections. Budzilla Enthusiast Posts: 288 Kudos: 197 Votes: 90 Registered: 18-Jul-2006 | Other than that the inch per rule is faulty, your new stocking suggestion is off fishrockmysox. Reducing number per species is not a good idea, much better is to just rule out the julii's and the dg or rams. but iguess you could get away with original, I set it up so all levels of the tank are covered. -Vincent |
