How big is your tank Ashneil ?. In 29Gal you can keep 2 Angels & some Tetra's & Corydoras, without any problems.

They can get up to 6" long and get 11" tall
They can live 8 years
No idea how fast they grow I've never kept them - yet.

Well, an angelfish in a big fish. And in a 29 gallon, you could also add some smaller fish. If you just want an angelfish, I guess you could put it in *squints, knowing he's gona get flamed* a 15 - 20 gallon tank. But, I'd stick with a 29. Gallon that is.

BTW, I'm not one of those people who think that all tanks under 100 gallons are good for a bettas (I know quite a few like that). It's just that a fully-grown angelfish can be 6" long and 11" tall.

I'm not saying you shouldn't. It should work out ok. The only problem is, once the guppies start going (I'm talking a few months/years down the road) you won't be able to replace them. Once you get down to 1 or 2 guppies, you might want to start a new guppy-only tank for them.

Wow! You really seem excited about this!

If you introduce the angel to the guppies when the angel is small, it will grow up thinking the guppies are part of the scenery. Be warned, if you add any new guppies, they will be singled out and eated.

The angel will grow and if it turns agressive, it can attack the guppies.

Should be depending on the size of the tank. Also be aware that the angel will eat guppy fry.
