Two or three guppies in a 3g? I still think that's too much, a 5g would probably be minimum size.

Oh, sory. That should be fine---my old ten gallon setup was a trio of WCMM (5+ would be better to keep the nipping down) and an imbellis.

I agree with TM. Bettas + WCMM will not fit in a 3 gal.

I wouldn't do it in a 3g but I've kept a betta with WCMMs.

I would have to agree with Klee...most WCMM's are born and raised in Captivity, and usually kept around 80 degrees anyway. I think you would be just fine adding a few Clouds to your Betta tank!

Neither bettas or WCMMs are sticklers for temp. 75 degrees seems just about right for the betta and WCMMs.

You can't fit any schooling fish in a 3 gallon, even if they were alone, without the betta. I'd suggest you get snails or shrimp as companions instead.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

OK. i might consider getting some neon tetra to go with him. also how many minimum tetras can go in a 3 gallon with a betta ? Fish have to be limited as i have a small budget.

They can go in the same tank, but they really shouldn't. As sirbooks already said, Bettas really should be kept around 80F. And WCMMs shouldn't be kept in anything higher than 75F, with 70F being ideal.

Not really. Wcmm's are fish that prefer cooler temperatures, while bettas actually like temps in the high 70's to low 80's.
