djcyborg Fingerling Posts: 17 Kudos: 15 Votes: 0 Registered: 28-Oct-2004   | im new to fish keeping and just setting up a 29 gal fw i have a penguin 170 bio wheel filter and a penguin power head with sponge on the other side of tank to help circulate the water more when i turn the powerhead off the bubbles seem to go away after a few minutes my question is,, is there any way to keep the power head running and not have all the bubbles, btw i have the pressure adjusted to the lowest it will go. |

The bubbles are most likely caused by how hard the water's hitting the surface. | djcyborg Fingerling Posts: 17 Kudos: 15 Votes: 0 Registered: 28-Oct-2004 | yeah it is a submersible power head,, i will try disconnecting the air line and see if that works. i didn't think the bubbles would be a problem but i dont really like the way they look, looks kinda like sand stirring up, i will probably end up getting a fluval 204 or something of that sort for more filtration because i dont think this is going to be enough, iuno yet. anyways i can't think of anything else right now. thanks again..
