is your 75 already cycled? if so you can pretty much instantly cycle your 10 gallon using water, gravel, filter media etc. from your already cycled 75 gallon. no need to buy a fish to cycle with if you already have another cycled tank.

As Jason said, you don't need a fish to cycle your tank...take some of your substrate from your 75 gallon tank, and put it in a clean nylone (unless it is the same coloring/type as what you want in the 10/ or just don't care) and put it in your 10 gallon. Also take about 5 gallons of water or so from the 75 gallon and there you go you should pretty much be cycled. This will help move some of the beneficial bacteria to your new tank, and should get you ready to go. Heidi
