It is at the very beginning of the cycle, which is why the tank only has ammonia and nothing else.

How long has it been set up?

Unless you just did a 100% water change your tank should have nitrates if its cycled. Has your tank been cycled?

the Nitrate level is zero, nitrite level is zero, hardness is 100 ppm, KH is moderate, PH level is 7.3, ammonia level is 0-.25 ppm.

Whats the gph on it? If its the one I think it is its 90gph. If your fish are really small you might be able to find a big sponge filter to use instead, but im not sure if it'd be enough..

what kind of filter is good for a 10 gallon tank. i currently have a wisper filter for 5-15 gallon tanks. It has sucked up on of my guppies, and sucked one of the side fins off of another. HELP!

Those two tetras are still alive and my duct tape idea is still working. The tank is clean, one of my tetras is a bully and both are little pigs at feeding time.

I have had it a little less than three weeks. I really just started the cycling. When I am done I am going to get some more black skirts to make it a school. maybe that will curb my bully tetras nipping. His being a pest:%)
