"...dwarf aquatic frogs (need live food though)..."

Maybe African Clawed Frogs need live food, but African Dwarf Frogs don't. I now a few people, including myself, that have ADFs. Having never feed live foods, my frogs are thriving, and have been for about 9 months.

I wouldn't suggest going with the puffers and ottos if you are a beginner at fishkeeping. Ottos are hard to keep alive, upon introduction that is, and are very sensitive to water quality. Dwarf puffers sometimes only eat live foods, and need to eat snails every week or so to trim their teeth. Also, if you keep dwarf puffers you'll need a heavily planted tank, which you can achieve with plastic, but if you don't like plastic or silk plants and your a beginner, you may not want to learn how to manage aquatic plants at the same time.

Guppies would be great. The fact that they breed all the time is always fun to see, especially the fry. Be sure you have hiding spots if you want the fry to survive though. White clouds, tetras (neons, rummynose, etc.), killifish, corydoras (pygmy, panda, small kinds, not the big ones), dwarf aquatic frogs (need live food though), and a betta is fun. You can keep multiple female bettas together too! If you do get a betta in your 10 gallon, make sure it's tank mates don't have long fins like guppies, or else they'll get nipped, which may result to death.

I just started a 10 gallon tank that is being cycled with 6 tiger barbs. Once cycled I am planning on removing the tiger barbs and adding new fish. Does anyone have any ideas on the type and quantity of fish that will work well in a 10 gallon tank? I would like the tank to include some cherry barbs if possible.

hey ive got 2 dwarf gouramis in a 10 gallon and as long as its well planted the dwarves never seem to fight, i guess its depenedant on the fishes temperment but dwarf gouramis are a beautiful choice for a 10 gal.

Dwarf puffers and ottos ::evil::

?

Otos are one of the few fish that dwarf puffers won't bother....I know from personal experience, you can also check puffer sites for confirmation.
