I'm thinking of taking down my 5g female betta tank and my 6g that currently has an incomplete school of WCMMs, an ADF, and a female betta and buying a 10g to somewhat replace it.

It would be a room temp tank (~74) and I want to move all the 6g occupants into it.

How large a white cloud school could I have with the betta and ADF?

Is there anything else I could have in the tank? I'm thinking of getting a dwarf crayfish. I've read they can be ok with fish, would WCMMs or the betta end up getting attacked? Or the ADF?

Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I would think you would be able to get away with 5-6 wwcm. if the crayfish catches a fish its a goner most fish should be able to get away but i would worrie about the betta.

As long as the betta is anywhere larger than 1.6" ish, she should be fine. BTW, two female bettas in a ten gallon might be a bit, uh, rowdy. In my ten gall, I tried keeping a female splendis and imbellis together, until I came home one day to find the imbellis chased half to death. With minimal decor, I say a school of 6 wcmms is fine, as are the betta and dwarf frog.

With just the betta and ADF, I'd say 7 is do-able. But, compared with others on this site, I like pushing limits with stocking.
