well it depends on what you all say!

my 12 G hex

I want to put my four female bettas in there?just them no one else.

would that work ok?

and could the two guppies and three platies fit in to my 25G? with two mollies, three other platies, false flying fox, and a frog (ADF).

The bettas were in the 25G before with the above fish. i do a four gallon WC every sunday and my ammonia, nitrites and nitrates are generally at zero. the tank has loads of plants and two internal filters.

please be kind if i am over stocked. i am never completely sure, there are so many opinions.

cheers
GFG

I do not believe you are overstocked, in any of you setups. Sometimes female bettas can fight, but if they are all compatible it should be fine. The livebearers can all reside together, but the frog may be a bit of a problem. Many frogs can grow large and consume all of your fish and guppies are sometimes an easy snack for even the smallest of amphibians.

True ADF do not grow large. ACF (african clawed frogs) do grow large. Often LFS's will mix them up, and or do not lable the tanks properly.

What are the dimensions on the hex? All the hexes I've seen are much taller than they are long, giving less room in the tank even if they do have the gallonage. If the hex is planted and the bettas dont' fight that much you should be okay with them in the hex.

The community tank looks about full for now, but if you end up with fry you'll be close to being overstocked.
