Hi im new to this forum and fish keeping!!!

I will be getting a 20 gal tank and am wanting some opinions about what i want to put in the tank. this is what i have in mind so far

1 gourami, dwarf or honey
4-6 cories (not sure as to what kind yet, probably smaller ones)
6-8 harlequin Rasboras

Im having a little trouble deciding what kind of cories to put in beacuse i dont want to over crowd the tank
Any suggestions on what kind of cories would be great!

Thnax

Ghost shrimp do not eat algae, however amano , cherry, and some others do (amano are most commonly available). In a 20 most cories would be fine at 4-6 with the stocking list you provided, especially if you get them young as most take quite a while to reach their full adult length. Do not get barbatus cories and the like (now scientifically renamed to Scleromystax barbatus-they used to be Corydoras barbatus) as they get too large and they get territorial. Any common cories will be fine. If you have some in mind and want to ask just to be sure ask away!

I personally like laser cories: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/callicht/corydora/265_2.php because of their color, but they can get pricey

Get 6 cories, they'll thank you for it. There are a bunch of kinds you can get. I'd recommend skunk, panda, hastatus, pygmaeus, hasbrosus, and arcuatus.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

Fish Tank. Sterbai cories aren't particularly small. I was just naming the smaller cories.

My personal favorites are 3 lined cories (C. trilineatus). Very active, fun to watch, good personalities
