Apple Snails. | |

Are apple snails asexual? If there are two will they breed? I notice them eating algae but are they plant eaters too? Does anyone know a good site about Apple Snails? Thanks Susan ___________________________________________ If at first you DO succeed, try not to look astonished. |

They stripped my tank of algae, even the BBA We are always stopping by the tank to see what they are doing. So far they haven't touched the crypts and they are cleaning the java moss but not eating it. I have a heavily planted tank that I have BBA in, I might try them in there but I would watch them very closely .... I want to keep my plants lol. ___________________________________________ If at first you DO succeed, try not to look astonished. |

I'm not sure how old they live but this fellow was about 4 yrs,so I narrowed it down to old age. The other one is great! I feed my snails spinach, romaine lettuce, cucumbers as a treat. My snails AND my Plecos LOVE it!!! |
