Most sources just say the females will carry pink eggs and voila, but do you need do induce spawning? How often does it happen? What foods do you raise the "fry" on? |

When you see that the female is ripe with eggs, place her into a small tank by herself (some what planted with Nitella or Java Moss) and let nature take the course. When the eggs are laid, remove the female and place her back into her regular tank. The baby shrimp will eat infusoria (small microscopic critters, hence the Nitella and Java Moss) and later on, Brine Shrimp (scary eh, everyone likes these!) Gary |
