Burmese Mt. Bee Shrimp? | |
skinny (ish) Fish Addict Posts: 506 Votes: 35 Registered: 05-Sep-2003 | My lfs is selling some small shrimp (about .5" which look a lot like amano shrimp, but they are labelled as Burmese Mt. Bee Shrimp (apparently the Mt stands for mountain). Has anyone ever heard of these? I've searched and searched on google and can't find anything at all on them.... Is it a made up name? |

I'm not convinced. Having watched and started and watched and googled for images and stared some more, I'm now convinced they're Rudolph Red-Nosed Shrimp. They haven'r got much red colouring in them yet, but I did find one picture which just looks identical to mine: skinny attached this image: Last edited by skinny at 23-Jan-2005 04:38[/font] |

I also got 6 "blue shrimp" which I think are maybe Malaysian Rainbow Shrimp and 6 red cherry shrimp. Finally I have shrimp in my shrimp tank This is it before I put them in (although it has loads of algae in it): http://www.moochly.f2s.com/Fish/Shrimp/Shrimp%20Tank.htm Seeing the way they're going now though I expect it will spotless again in a few days!
