Buying/stocking Amano shrimp | |
Dakkon Fingerling Posts: 28 Votes: 0 Registered: 02-Jun-2004 | Hello Does anyone know where i can get these in so-cal? (i'm in the Irvine area) i've checked Petown, but they dont seem to have them... anyone got any ideas? Also. if i were to order them online (35-40 of them) when is a good time to order them? after i've fully stocked the tank with the fish? i originally wanted stock the tank by alternating afew fish/shrimps per week, but if i order them online.. obviously i cant do that... or can i? is it safe to put all 35-40 of them in the tank at once? (i know their bio-load is minimal, but 35-40 of them?) it'll be a 30 gallon tank to be stocked with 30-35 harlequin rasboras, possibly afew ottos last question.. since i'm just going to carpet this tank with glosso and possibly hairgrass do i NEED the amano shrimp? cause they are kind of pricey and if there are any alternatives ill probably go with that... sorry for all these questions but i guess it's better to have 1 thread than to make alot of them? i'd appreciate any suggestions + help cause these are like the last few things i need to know before i can set it up! Thanks! |

You might want to try looking around at other stores in your area,, to see if they carry them. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |
