From what i have read on here, Goldies need at least 75 gallons for one fish!! But i would imagine in theory they would be ok......ireally think the goldies need a bigger home tho Sam |

I didnt mean to be rude, i just thought you should know..... Sam What type of goldie are they? Last edited by sxp8397 at 04-Mar-2005 17:20 |

Putting a crayfish such a small tank, with an already comprimised bio-load is unfair to the cray. Not that the goldies are in too good of a situation either You do realize that those fish get 2 feet long each, don't you? I'll do graffiti, If you sing to me in French. |

He owned that tank, and he knew it. He did an amazing job of keeping that tank clean too... With goldfish, however, I'm not sure that would a be a good idea. Maybe it's a different kinda goldfish than what I'm thinking of, but if it's only 1 1/2 inches long, he's perfect dinner size for the cray. I fed my cray 1-2 inch feeders. At night, the goldfish had a tendency to probe the gravel for leftovers. That's when the cray attacked... Good luck. |

Not to mention a ten gallon is just an-oversized bowl and we all know the issue on goldies and bowls. |

That is besides the main point of can they live together? The answer is a definate NO, they crayfish will have eaten them before the week is out.
