Im not an expert, but do you have 2 goldies in a 10 gallon? What kind of goldies are they? From what i have read on here, Goldies need at least 75 gallons for one fish!!
But i would imagine in theory they would be ok......ireally think the goldies need a bigger home tho

I know you were asking about the crayfish, but i thought it neccesary to point out that it is unfair to the goldfish to keep them in a small tank...... I didnt mean to be rude, i just thought you should know.....

Sam

What type of goldie are they?

those goldies are just babies. And i don't think it would be to put a crayfish with goldies in a 10 gal, It may be fine if you had a bigger tank.

Id say yes if you had a bigger tank, only because those goldies get huge and produce a ton of waste. Putting a crayfish such a small tank, with an already comprimised bio-load is unfair to the cray. Not that the goldies are in too good of a situation either

You do realize that those fish get 2 feet long each, don't you?

Honestly, I once had my cray in a ten gallon, and he seemed super happy. He loved having the other fish swim about him. He owned that tank, and he knew it. He did an amazing job of keeping that tank clean too...

With goldfish, however, I'm not sure that would a be a good idea. Maybe it's a different kinda goldfish than what I'm thinking of, but if it's only 1 1/2 inches long, he's perfect dinner size for the cray. I fed my cray 1-2 inch feeders. At night, the goldfish had a tendency to probe the gravel for leftovers. That's when the cray attacked...

Good luck.

Plus two goldies in that 10 gal tank could potential cause the nitrates to skyrocket quickly and cray are alot more sensitive to nitrate then fish. Not to mention a ten gallon is just an-oversized bowl and we all know the issue on goldies and bowls.

This is hilarious; it does not matter that the goldfish would be in a ten gallon.

That is besides the main point of can they live together?
The answer is a definate NO, they crayfish will have eaten them before the week is out.

Empty chairs at empty tables, the room silent, forlorn.
