If so, how many of each should I buy? EDIT: I just found out red claw crabs fight with their own kind. So I would only have one of them. Could I have maybe 4 fiddler crabs? I was gona use a large piece of slate to make a slant and black sand as a substrate. I'll fill it part way so they can get out of the water. Also, if they are kept in fresh water and I want to keep them in freswater, should I do it gradulaly? That would mean I would have to stock it pretty fast and have water problems. I'm worried that if I don't raise it fast enough, they will die from a lack of salt. I heard they only live for a month in freshwater, and since they are in freswater at the store, I probably don't have much time... My other fear is that if I introduce them to brackish right away, they will go into shock. Is there anyway I can add crabs to the tank without them dying? Thanks - DJ :88) Last edited by djtj at 01-Apr-2005 22:01 |
