In the wild they would do this and just float down stream to where the water was good. Fill a bucket with tap water, add your water conditioner to it, swirl it around for 10 mins or so, let it sit for an hour or more, then put your snail in it. He should come out in under 30 minutes. Sometimes air gets trapped in their lung and they cannot expell it right away, which causes the floating. |
