O.K its a fact that snails can't swim right? well when i got up this morning and turned the tank light on....wait before i get started i have some elodea plants that have out grown the hight o the tank so i neec to trim them i know so like half o each stem i lying on the suface
and back to my story i turned on the light to find the crazy snail trying to balanc himself and he cralled along the plant as if it were a tight rope and when he reached the end o the plant he just tumbled off and fell to the bottom
but i mean how strange that he could get up there in the first place:%):%):%)
i'll provide ya with some pics as soon as i catch him in the act again
but like does any one have any sugestions i mean realy snails surely can't swim?

Snails cant swim per se, but they have the ability to trap air in their shell. The bubble allows them to float, and they can release as little or as much as they need to get where they want to be

I'll do graffiti,
If you sing to me in French.

Snails can definitely climb to the very tips of plants even those reaching the top of my 55g. It doesn't take them long. They also can use air to float and often times get to the bottom fast by letting themselves slowly sink. Most applesnails will travel to the top at least once a day to breathe in oxygen using their lung instead of pulling it out of the water with gills.
