What are the benefits of a ghost shrimp in comparison to Apple snails?

-Who has a bigger effect on the bioload?
-Who requires more maintanence?
-Who provides more benefits to the tank? (cleanup & etc)

I'll do graffiti,
If you sing to me in French.

Bioload, go for the ghost shrimp,
Maintenance, both are fairly maintenance free
Most benefit, I would say the ghost shrimp, they act like a clean up crew, they are also much more active than a snail

I don't know about snails being less active. I have 1 Black Mystery Snail, 1 Gold Mystery, 1 Ramshorn, and 1 Blue Snail (which looks like a Black Mystery, just with alot of blue. Is this even the official name because I can't find info on it). Anywho, they are always crawling around about 80% of the time when I watch the tank. Very active at home even when they seem lethargic at the store.
