	Grrrrrrrr stupid snail!!!!!
kelso Fingerling Posts: 43 Kudos: 34 Votes: 0 Registered: 01-Sep-2004	It just keeps laying eggs! Everyday i'm cuttin off leaves and throwing out eggs! By the time this months over i'll have leaf-less plants! After i caught the guy and girl goin at it, i moved the girl into a diff tank...is there any stopping this overflow of eggs? Anyway to tell which ones arn't fertilized? I have no idea what kind of snail it is, the eggs are tiny white dots in the mucus coating...is it ever going to stop!!!!! This was about a week ago that i saw them doing this.

johnnylaw1984 Enthusiast Posts: 158 Kudos: 168 Votes: 19 Registered: 27-Sep-2004	try getting some snail eating fish, or floating a leaf of lettuce and letting the snails congragate on this, remove the lettace with the snails and repeat as often as needed.

jakeoman Fingerling Posts: 39 Kudos: 40 Votes: 3 Registered: 01-Oct-2004	snails will multiply like crazy, your best bet would be to invest in a type of fish that will eat either the baby snails or the snail eggs, most louches and puffers will do this. I am kind of new to fish keeping but this was a quick lesson we learned about snails

So the tank is definently to small for a loach i'm thinking, but i'm going to try the lettuce trick! Thanks for your replies...any other suggestions would be nice too
