Mystery Snail a real mystery! | |
TSWisla Small Fry Posts: 11 Kudos: 8 Votes: 0 Registered: 13-Feb-2005 | I have this mystery snail that cruises around the tank, then suddenly stops, falls to the ground and will stay in whatever position it lands in (upside down, sideways, whatever) for HOURS. I have thought on several occasions that it was dead, but then I saw it cruising the tank again. Is this normal behavior for a mystery snail? Thank you. |

I would always think he was dead...but he always proved me wrong. I really wonder why they do this? I didn't think snails played dead like clown loaches... Unfortunately, when it did finally die, it took me a while to realize it... Let's just say removing him when I figured it out was not the most pleasant experience.:%) |
