My red clawed crab has just shed its shell about 4 days ago and has not touched it yet, i know that they have to eat it in order to rebuild the calcium in theyr system. Any clue why it hasnt been touched yet?

no idea, but i'd tae the squishier bits out tomorrow, the water will be leahing most of the calcium out anyhoo.
Just leave a few legs and nippers.

And bulk up the dit with high calcium foods for a while.

Did you feed him yummy foods just after he shed?

I'm not sure about crabs, but shrimp only eat the skin they molt when they're lacking the necessary calcium and iodine. It's a good sign if they don't eat it. It means the water and diet is providing what they need.
