Does anyone know about planarians? They seem easy enough to collect from streams. Are they a good food source for fish, or are they a threat even though they are not parasitic?

they are a pretty good food source (ie. fish eat them readily, dont know nutritional value, assume its not much), but i would be wary of getting them from streams as the amount of 'natural' gunk in a stream that your tank-bred fish have never been exposed to can prove fatal or at least a colossal hassle.

I had them. They are a serious hassle. I guess baby fish would eat them. But they are hard to get to because they stay on the side of the tank and are to small for grown up fish to even mess with. Usually
