Rccs and snails living in peace? | |
Iceterran Fingerling Posts: 24 Kudos: 18 Votes: 0 Registered: 06-Oct-2005 | Can it happen? I'm housing two small red clawed crabs in a half filled 1Gal. Im planning to breed some snails to feed my figure eight puffers, can i have the snails and rccs int he same small tank? thanks. |

Pest snails (I'm assuming those are the ones you're talking about?) breed very quickly and even if the crabs kill some, there will be plenty of snails left over. I wouldn't think that the crabs would go out of their way to bump off the snails though. I do want to say that half a gallon of water won't be much space for two crabs and a bunch of snails... Can you upgrade to a slightly larger tank, like a five gallon? |
