Just leave them there or try to scoop them out, if you're not happy with them. What fish do you have in the tank, as there are snail eating fish, but snail are pests & they are very difficult to eliminate 100%.

One popular method seems to be to leave a piece of lettuce at the bottom of your tank overnight. The snails should be all over it, so when you get up in the morning, just pull them out. Do it a couple times to get any straggles, that should at least get them under control.

Another way, depending on the inhabitants of your tank, is to put a few pennies in the filter of your tank (pre-1975, or something close?) Copper will kill inverts such as snails, but will also kill shrimp and any snails you may want to keep around. It's also important to remove the dead snails when this is over, since that many decaying bodies can cause an ammonia spike. Any thing else?
