We're cleaning out my mums tank right now and I saw this thing shooting across the tank so caught it. As I've no idea what it is I'm not sure if it should go back in or not. We've no idea where it's come from. The only possibility is on one of the plants. I get mine from the same shops and I've not had one of these. It's about and inch long. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v153/ferny/fish/2e0332a2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v153/ferny/fish/008da747.jpg www.blueyedmuffin.co.uk - I'll update it, one day... |

Cool find, but if you have small fish, it's good you got it out of the tank as they are voracious predators. ferny Small Fry Posts: 4 Kudos: 2 Votes: 1 Registered: 02-Jul-2007 | Tank is hooded and in a bedroom away from the window. I've no idea how it got their either. Surely from a plant but there aren't any recent additions to the tank. Thanks for the info. He went in the pond. Well, even if he gets munched at least he's served a purpose, right... www.blueyedmuffin.co.uk - I'll update it, one day... |
