Also, what would it eat? Thank you. Cheers ![]() |

If you don't have a cover maybe some type of plastic wrap taped over it. ___________________________________________ If at first you DO succeed, try not to look astonished. |

You can feed him fish food & lettuce leaves. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

There have been cases of females not finding a suitable egg laying site near the tank so they take a trip across the room to lay their eggs. Sometimes they make it back to the tank and sometimes they don't. Although snails can survive out of water for several days or even a week depending on conditions so it's not always a death sentence. I've thrown a few back in the tank that managed to wander out. Applesnails will eat pretty much all fish foods along with most vegetables and fruits. They aren't hard to feed. |
