well i just got my pack of clams, i ordered 6, and this guy sent me around 25] but when i opened the package, about 10 of them were dead (open) so i tossed them. the rest went in the tank, i stick them a little bit into the sand, but how do i know if they are alive or just dead inside??

if they don't look like the once that came dead]

but i think that it shouldn't matter, seeing how something will probably eat it when it dies, and you can use the shells for hiding places in your tank.

You should keep them so you can send them back to the seller or at least take pictures.
