So now he is living in a small tank in my kitchen. Is there a name for this type of crab other than 'freshwater crab'? I was told they eat leftover fish food on the bottom, as well as things like shrimp pellets and bloodworms. Any other feeding suggestions? At least once a day he will climb either the plants or heater and sit in the filter; do these crabs need somewhere to sit out of the water? And other info would be appreciated as well ![]() ![]() ![]() ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

He really does need an area to scramble out of the water. try a floating rock island or a piece of mangrove root sticking out. |
