I have 2 little 1" crayfish. Right now they are in the tank with the baby applesnails and mostly seem interested in picking through the clover. What exactly do they eat? I gave them some shrimp pellet and both just went around it picking through the gravel. I do have crab and lobster bites as well as sinking algae wafers and spirulina pellets. The tank does have alot of uneaten food from feeding the baby snails which has caused a bit of planaria and daphnia to show up. The water parameters are good and I do stir the gravel it's just hard to vac it without sucking all the snails up. |

The thrill of the hunt should get them interested. |

Then freeze dried krill and a few fish flakes. They seem to be expanding their diet now but aren't the least bit interested in my applesnails. I did read full grown crayfish eat snails but I guess my applesnails aren't on the menu of baby crays. Right now they are smaller than my ghost shrimp. |
