Well, from what you posted, nothing really sticks out. Can you provide a little more information?

Tank size?
Tank occupants?
How long have you had them?
How many died?
Have you used any meds?

Does your water have alot of copper or other heavy metals? Do you use a water conditioner that bind heavy metals? Finally most nerites are saltwater snails. There are some brackish that survive in fresh but do not breed and 2 or 3 actual freshwater species. So make sure you really did buy freshwater nerites or brackish ones that were kept in fresh before.

If it's not due to a problem with the water then I would guess starvation next. A few lfs here don't feed their snails. They just assume they'll find enough food on the bottom of the tank. The snails might have been in poor shape when you got them.
