Racso      Mega Fish Some Assembly Required Posts: 1163 Kudos: 1442 Votes: 35 Registered: 19-Feb-2002    | Well.... simple as that, do they? I'm fishless cycling a tank for my girlfriend's mom, and right now the nitrite is at its peak (about 2 ppm) and she (girlfriend's mom) keeps complaining about fish. Well its starting to have an algae problem (they were leaving the lights on all day and night  so I was wondering if i could add some algae eating shrimp to take care of some of the algae while it finishes the cycle.
