Not really.

They dont get many diseases, and the ones the do get are usually nutritional.

They CAN carry fish diseases, but thats pretty rare. Most things that they would carry would be in their digestive tract and they would almost always be digested.
(Ich or velvet MIGHT get through)

So yeah, rinse them off, and quarrantine for a day to purge (if they have been kept with fish) and off you go.
