If they're anything like the danios I have nothing really stands a chance of surviving to adult hood...danios just find a way of gettting every little bit of anything that'll fit in their mouths. ^_^ |

Janna Mega Fish Posts: 1386 Registered: 24-Aug-2003 | Giant danios are different than zebras Giants actually get quite big, getting about 5 inches long. Anyways..... Yes, zebra danios aren't a good choice for fish in a 2 gallon. And yes, ghost shrimp can breed in aquariums. They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver, So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces. |

mariosim Enthusiast Posts: 207 Kudos: 245 Votes: 20 Registered: 28-Jul-2004 | there is one lady working there that i love to mess with. her suggestions on fish compatability are rather amusing. she also has no clue about stocking levels, and i have watched her sell a new tank and fish for it at the same time. in her defense, i only see here there about an hour prior to closing. i get the impression that see normally works in another dept and subs in the fish section when most of the other employees go home. you would think she would say so instead of making stuff up. yes, i did speak to management about her. their turnover is high, and the newbies get "on the job training." i wish i knew where the managers get their training. the last time i was there, she spent 45 minutes netting a dozen rummynoses my son handpicked from a huge tank of them. she did not say a word when i said they were going to keep his goldfish company in a bowl. "let the buyer beware" |
