Adult size would depend on what species they are - can you describe their outward appearance?

Well the shell of them comes to a point, and the point goes off to the side-- its kinda hard to see them b/c they are so little!!!! It looks like a normal pest snail that comes in on live plants.

If it's shaped kinda like a football, it's either a Lymnea or a Physid.

Physids are more common, from what I've seen, and don't get larger than 0.5".

Lymnea stagnalis is known as the Giant Pond Snail for a reason. They can get much larger, but no more than 1.0" long. They also have triangular shaped antennas. Like little ears.

Snails are Pests & if you don't remove them, they'll multiply in days. Another problem is overfeeding, if they'll find food, they'll multiply.

I don't think that the Apple Snail will eat the other snails.

It's not really accurate that snails multiply in a matter of days.

MTS's might be the closest exception to that, since they are livebearers.

Physids and Lymneas lay jelly-like egg masses under the water, which take at least a week to hatch out.

And apple snails also lay eggs, which take more than two weeks to hatch.
