Are red cherry shrimp active and fun to watch, or do they just sit there? would they mix OK with killifish?

I think they're very pretty, and cool little scavengers. I like 'em, but then again I like even the classic boring ghost shrimpies SO it kinda depends, it's all preference really. >.< Give 'em sinking treats and they'll be pretty active scavengers. Which killis do you have?

I don't have any killis yet but I am looking to set up a small tank on my bedside table, 5-7 gallons. I have never kepts killis OR inverts, aside from pond snails. they would be small killis anyway, so i don't think they would eat the shrimp...

I've just got some red cherry shrimp and they aren't all that active, but they do walk quite entertainingly, and the little swimmy thing they do is very fun to watch!

I don't know much about killifish so I couldn't really say, but be aware that these shrimp are pretty small and I imagine they'd be quite tasty for someone with a big enough mouth...

i have some with my killifishes of all sorts. but the killis that i keep them with are around the same size as the shrimps and i haven't seen any one of them attempt to eat the shrimps. they rather pick on each other.

They're very interesting to watch, in fact I think shrimp are my most interesting pets. They work almost constantly and usually stay in loose groups. They will also breed assuming they have adequate hiding spaces and food.

I raise red cherry shrimp and enjoy watching them. Give them some floating plants and they're upside-down on them doing acrobatics and such. I also raise a few crystal red shrimp and they have pretty much the same antics, a little harder to breed but eat a lot of the same algaes and display better coloration, imo.

Shrimp and killies are a big fat no-no in my experience... I have four golden wonder killies in a 55g, but they went out of their way all the way to the bottom of the tank to devour ghost shrimp that were as long as they were All my shrimp were gone in a few days.
